Droblet Technologies was founded in 2025 by two people who watched freight forwarders key the same invoice into three systems. The platform reads the documents, drafts the declaration, lists what is missing, and files once a person has approved. It now processes live customs work for forwarders in France and the UK.

How it started
The first version of Droblet was built with two French freight forwarders. Their declarants received commercial documents by email, read them, and typed the same parties, references and weights into the forwarding system, the customs software and a spreadsheet. A typo in any one of them held a shipment at the border.
We built the engine to read those documents once, with a confidence score on every field and a record of where in the page each value came from, and to draft the declaration from them. The part that mattered most to our clients was not speed. It was that the draft listed what was missing instead of filling it in with a guess, and that nothing was filed until one of their people said yes.
Today Droblet processes those forwarders' live declarations and a UK client's, filing directly to HMRC CDS and the EU's ICS2. The same engine now reads supplier invoices for finance teams and certificates for manufacturers, because the work is the same whatever the document.

A person approves
Droblet drafts and checks. A declarant approves. The platform cannot file on its own, and neither can an AI assistant connected to it.
Gaps, not guesses
A field no document supplied is reported as missing. A draft quietly filled with plausible values is worse than an obviously incomplete one.
Evidence on every field
Each value carries its confidence and the place in the document it was read from. An auditor can see why a number is what it is.
Direct to customs
HMRC CDS and the ICS2 shared trader interface, with no third-party filing platform between you and the authority.

Each client runs their own Private Cloud deployment today. A shared subscribe-and-go platform is coming, with the same isolation.
